How is my credit card payment processed?
Payments are processed via the Paypal Processing Gateway. You do not need a Paypal account to make a payment, just a Visa or Mastercard. Paypal is the world's largest payment gateway, and is fast, free to you, and fully secured. Women's Health do not see your credit card details if you pay online using our shopping cart system.
Once you have made your selection from the buttons on our payment page, begin the payment process by clicking the Checkout button at the top of that page. You will be transferred to PayPal's secure fully secured https website. If you have a Paypal account, you may choose to use it. If you do not have a PayPal account, choose to pay with Mastercard or Visa. You will be asked to provide a postal address, the billing address for your credit card (these may be the same), your phone number and your email address. We need this information to be able to contact you with receipts, packs etc.
You will receive an almost immediate automatic receipt for your payment from Paypal via email. In addition, we'll post to you a Tax Deductible receipt if you make a donation, and a membership pack if you become a member.
Why doesn't the shopping cart work for me?
The simplest way of ensuring that you are able to use our payment processing system effectively is to set your browser's security settings to Default.
In Internet Explorer, go to Tools-Internet Options-Security, highlight Internet and click the Default button. If you wish to reset a customised level of security, you may do so after completing your payment.
Any other problems encountered while using the shopping cart can usually be solved by deleting cookies in your browser in order to clear the cart's "memory". To delete cookies in Internet Explorer, go to Tools-Internet Options-General Tab and click the Delete Cookies button.
