Russ Harris (2008)
There are two definitions of what happiness is. This book focuses on the lesser known definition of happiness which means living a rich, full and meaningful life, rather than the more popular premise that happiness signifies emotions or 'feeling good'. The author thus examines a number of myths around the state of happiness and demonstrates how to escape from the trap of negative emotional patterns. This way forward is based on the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and is clearly outlined in the book.
