Celebrate Queensland Seniors Week 2018! We are pleased to present regional events in Atherton and Mt Isa as part of these celebrations.

Seniors, their families and carers are invited to these free events to find out about local services that help you stay connected with your community..

Without the support of these key partners either event would not be possible:

The month of May is Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month, designed to raise community awareness of domestic and family violence.

To make people aware of what support is available in the Mt Isa region, WHQ will be holding a free sausage sizzle on Wednesday, May 23 from 12Noon to 2:00pm in partnership with Ngukuthati Children and Family Centre and Centacare.

Watch our latest webinar on 'Pap smears, what next?'.

Two-yearly Pap smears will be replaced with a five-yearly HPV test. Listen to our webinar presented by Health Education Team leader Belinda Kippen and Cervical Clinical Nurse Consultant Lisa Peberdy as they discuss these changes.
